I can change them, but the changes are reverted the moment I click “OK” and when I add a gadget, the most recent add always places the gadget in its default state in its default position and it can’t be moved, or right clicked, nor does bccm94311mcg mini-icon-bar come up when you hover over it; it also always stays on top.

Sunday, August 16, 2: Trying to rollback was a problem and I had to use my Vista disk to get the PC to boot after it said it had rolled back to previous version. I suppose it’s a good way to protect data, but it’s at the cost of a multi-hour investment if the file count is high I’m seeing this to upgrading from vista x64 sp2 to win7 RTM.

Hi Darrell Thanks for the link. Nothing seems to help. This was Vista Ultimate x64 to Window 7 Ultimate x However there was a very serious problem after the upgrade.

Vista doesn’t have a boot. I had to reboot just to get it to rollback. Mine is at OnlineProgress SEQ1 It has also been years that I have had an OS installation go so badly.
