To find the adapter, run this command. The ‘lspci’ shows I have “BCM”. I can see why they aren’t too interested in putting energy into such an old device, but please don’t tease me making it look like newer drivers are available.

Sorry this didn’t help. There is a driver parameter that might can be set to make it solid but it does not always work. In reply to dick cee’s post on August 24, I have the same question That just says that the best driver is installed, which is if I remember right is dated October 28th, 3.
